I remember when my kids started school, we had to provide evidence of ALL vaccinations. Assuming this is the case today, how did ANY kid get into the school with a disease that is PREVENTABLE from vaccinations. is is one of those other CHOICES that liberals allow people to use? Heck, in some states you can choose gender, so i guess choosing not to vaccinate is now OK?
You have ALWAYS had the choice not to vaccinate. If your child IS vaccinated what's the problem. You can still pass it on to others even if YOU have been vaccinated, same with the FLU
Whooping cough primarily affects children too young to have completed the full course of vaccinations and teenagers and adults whose immunity has faded.
Anyone can get pertussis, although it is more common in infants and children. Even people who have been vaccinated can spread the disease to others who have not been vaccinated. There have been public service announcements in the past several months urging grandparents to get vaccinated so they do not spread the disease to children.
