Fox with Rabies in Berlin

The Worcester County Health Department (MD) has verified that a fox dispatched on Thomas Court by the Berlin Police Department on August 28, 2018 was in fact infected with the rabies virus. Foxes have been reported in a garage, in rear yards and seen attempting to interact with dogs over the weekend (August 25th). The residents of the Powell Circle and Thomas Court neighborhood are advised to pay close attention to their pets for possible rabies exposure and to report any fox sightings in this area of town. As a young child I would take home anything with fur. Kittens and puppies are too cute to resist. Sad that things are so bad today and you must warn your little ones. Even human children are getting ill because people are refusing to inoculate their children and they bring them into the country spreading illnesses.
