Mara Gay, a member of the far-left New York Times editorial board, believes Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) was being honest when he said America “was never that great.” She also agrees with the sentiment.
During a speech before supporters Wednesday, Cuomo was very clear about why he does not believe America has ever been great.
After criticizing President Trump’s “Make America Great” slogan, Cuomo laid out his reasoning.
“We’re not going to make America great again. It was never that great,” he said, as his supporters laughed and gasped.

America is the greatest country on the planet. And if you don't think so get the hell out. Being born in or becoming a citizen of The United States of America is akin to winning the lottery. Where else can you become anything you dream to be through hard work and determination like you can here. Where else can you start with nothing and end up on top. Nowhere but the good old U.S of A. That's why millions clamor to get in and get a piece of the pie. The left just doesn't like the fact that it takes effort.
Well said!
Ignorance on steroids. period.
Take an hour or so and walk through Arlington National Cemetery and tell those men and women of all races and backgrounds that they aren't great.
Just tell these aa$$hats to draw a map of how the world would look if America did not exist during WW2!! These idiots are frustrating and just plain stupid!
The US Government has always been great at warfare and defending Israel.
Period
