Joe Bastardi at Weatherbell Analytics says the Atlantic hurricane season is about to ramp up in a pretty big way, with (perhaps) multiple storms over the coming few weeks. There m-a-y be a tropical storm approaching Florida as soon as Monday.
In this case, ignorance is not bliss...

Reading all over the web that this winter is going to be a real rough one this year for the east coast. I don't know...but I'm already checking my hurricane supplies so we are just going one step further and preparing for winter and power outages. BURRRRRR!!!
2 38 and did you run to stock up on TP and milk etc etc etc
Dan Dan the "Weatherman's" greatest report, bad weather.
Been a really calm season so far. It is the peak of hurricane season in the next week. You can't tell what it will or won't do. But we are due for a storm, since we've had little this year.
Reason being those several front's and nor'easters we had back in July. That was highly unusual and cooled the ocean alot.
Too bad it won't stop the Fulk Festival!
445, our ocean out here is almost 80 degrees, hotter than the high of 72 that's usual. Hurricanes feed off warm water, not cold. That;s why they occur in late summer & fall.
DUH.
The warning is being given because of the planned actions of geo-Engineering efforts to steer the jet stream further south than its normal course. This will pull weather from the equator into the northern hemisphere.
