Legendary shotgun maker Mossberg is following in the footsteps of Springfield Armory and the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) by severing ties with Dick’s Sporting Goods.
Breitbart News reported that Springfield Armory severed ties with Dick’s on May 3, after it became known that the sporting goods chain had hired lobbyists to push gun control to Congress. The next day, NSSF canceled Dick’s membership in their organization, thereby expelling the business.
Now Mossberg is following suit.
They announced the end of their relationship with Dick’s via Facebook:

Dicks is just another liberal run anti gun, anti American,anti God. Over priced retailer that just shot itself in the foot. Now what i do is go in there see what I need snap a picture of it and buy it online and save 25%
Hunting sporting goods store, and has painted itself into a corner with its political anti-gun stance. Now it like the soup Nazi on Sienfield, except its "no guns for you!" Dick's. And we're talking long guns that hunter's use. Try getting hunters into your store now. We are not going to go into a golf store to buy hunting accessories and overpriced hunter clothing. Better get a new product line to promote, or Dick's is toast. Going to be a whole lot more retail space available at the malls soon.
