Drought Returns to Huge Swaths of U.S., Fueling Fears of a Thirsty Future

AUSTIN, Texas — Less than eight months after Hurricane Harvey pelted the Texas Gulf Coast with torrential rainfall, drought has returned to Texas and other parts of the West, Southwest and Southeast, rekindling old worries for residents who dealt with earlier waves of dry spells and once again forcing state governments to reckon with how to keep the water flowing.

Nearly a third of the continental United States was in drought as of April 10, more than three times the coverage of a year ago. And the specter of a drought-ridden summer has focused renewed urgency on state and local conservation efforts, some of which would fundamentally alter Americans’ behavior in how they use water.

In California, for example, officials are considering rules to permanently ban water-wasting actions such as hosing off sidewalks and driveways, washing a vehicle with a hose that doesn’t have a shut-off valve, and irrigating ornamental turf on public street medians. The regulations, awaiting a final decision by the California State Water Resources Control Board, were in force as temporary emergency measures during part of a devastating five-year drought but were lifted in 2017 after the drought subsided.

Warren Buffet has been buying water rights for the past 10 years. You folks that claim climate change is fake are in for a big surprise. You can't drink salt water. Water will be the new oil in the future. Technology will make fossil fuels obsolete but all living things need water to survive. Most of you already pay as much for a gallon of bottled water as you do for a gallon of gas. Think about it.

Buffett invests in water companies/infrastructure. Water rights are a foolish investment, as T. Boone Pickens discovered. Buffet also said it would make no sense to invest in windmills, if they weren't subsidized.
These droughts have been, are, and will be cyclical. These big drought scares are as predictable as the Arctic becoming ice free in the next "?" years.
Hopefully the earth will keep warming for mankind's well being.

It is much worse folks:

The draught and the chemically engineered cool down in the north / northeast are part of the military’s geo-Engineering program.

Dane Wiggington is doing tremendous work to expose these war crimes.

I feel that this is a good time to start investing more into the water-distribution infrastructure for CA instead of investing in the legalization of "undocumented-citizens" AKA, illegal aliens and their affairs. Food is an absolute must and with the more mouths to feed, the need for food and water becomes even greater. Both animals and plants need water to survive so the water must take the highest precedence.

Just my two-cents.

OH - I forgot something, there is also this thing called over-population that no one seems to talk about anymore. Soylent Green anyone?

Tin foil is on sale at Acme this week.

I don't believe over population is a conspiracy.
And tin foil won't protect you from a draught.
Either it rains or it doesn't and the military will make the decision for us.

If you don't realize they are manipulating the weather, then you simply are not paying attention!
Wake up man. It is 2018. The technologies are incredible!
