Breaking News: The federal government shutdown is over. The House has approved a budget bill that will raise spending by hundreds of billions of dollars.

The House gave final approval early Friday to a far-reaching budget deal that will reopen the federal government and boost spending by hundreds of billions of dollars, hours after a one-man blockade by Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky delayed the vote in the Senate and forced the government to close.

With the House’s approval, before Friday’s workday, the government will reopen before most Americans knew it closed, with a deal to provide $300 billion in additional funds for this fiscal year and next to for military and non-military programs, disaster relief for the victims of last year’s hurricanes and wildfires, and a higher statutory debt ceiling.

Next they want to attack SSI for high spending deficit. Bill Clinton put the SSI fund in the general budget so Politians could steal the funds and spend on other pork spending. Politians need to repay what they have stolen from SSI and put it back in its own fund. Before they mess with SSI they should cut foreign aid and use that for American citizens. Why are we giving away tax dollars to make a small group rich in these countries? It is not being used for what it is supposed to be for. Then there is the illegals US tax payers are paying for. The US should cut off all foreign aid since we are allowing their citizens to enter the US and collect tax dollars. That is paying double to these countries.

The Republicans have learned from the Obama administration that Americans do not care about budget deficits. They no longer want to waste political capital on fighting for reduced government spending. Politicians use of deficit spending to buy votes, is now here to stay.

Congress has never found a spending bill they didn't like.

Maybe you should be more concerned with the lazy NATURAL BORN CITIZENS sucking at the government teet. The illegals in my neighborhood are up before the sun and come home after it's down again working their ass off. I'll keep them over you any day

Spending limits are always raised. Never lowered. Regardless of the party in power.
