Hibernating
A beautiful sunrise this morning. Snow on the ground/beach, bright sunlight (after coming out over a cloud deck way out at seas), snow filled up my cup - with a bit of bourbon, very very cold but everyday is a good day at the beach!
Lather, rinse and REPEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Working and not having time to get drunk...
Can't get out. Road is not plowed. 2 to 3 foot drifts around cars. Driveway impassible. Hope for some good T.V.
Hoping we can get our pipes unfrozen. Even letting hot and cold water trickle 24/7, the temperature is just brutal
Enjoying the roaring fire coming out of my pellet stove. Some wild turkey. And a bourbon and brown sugar glazed ham.
Slow cooked pork ribs in the oven (225 degrees) marinated for two days in some sauce I got for Christmas from friends in the Deep South.
Waiting for "slum lord" to get water pipes thawing...they fuss about idiot renters? What about cheap asses that don't insulate the pipes under a old house or seal up around foundations? Who is really the idiot? Have another beer!
Just trying to stay warm on a budget.
