To find out the cheapest (yet greatest) counties to live in Maryland, we went to Niche.com. To make this list, the counties had to rank among the lowest cost of living, as well as receive an overall livability score of a B- and above. Here are the results:
3. Wicomico County
This area is affordable and full of things to do, with a median home value of $172,400. There are several wetland spots nearby that are great for taking in the sights.

ha ha ha ha ha too bad they don't mention the job scene which makes it unaffordable
this makes me laugh. Somerset Co. has to be no. 1 on the list but it's not even on it.
And don't forget about the ghettos and slum creature watching! And the schools filled with criminal thugs where riots happen!
LOL Anytime you see the word "affordable" in relation to housing it really means ghetto and blighted. It speaks volumes to the job market and the area as a whole when you can buy a house for under $200,000. This is not something for the local officials to promote or be proud of at all.
