Just take the beating and the robbery and call the police afterwards, if you live, because that is EXACTLY how they want crime to occur. Your life and safety mean NOTHING to them.
Disarm the citizens. Leave them vulnerable and if they get killed, well, at least they weren't violating some gun law, so the cops and politicians can sleep good, knowing that even though a good citizen and his family were carjacked and killed, THEY still have their guns, their security and their peace of mind.

I am a CCW holder that has the right to carry and the right to take you out if you threaten me or my family. FYI, my wife has a CCW too. So you don't need to worry about her unless you act in a threatening manner towards her or her family members. Your telling people that it is ok to break the law by carrying a weapon without a permit is reckless and dangerous. What happens if someone follows your advice and gets killed? Regardless of whether it is the person with the weapon or the other person, I can assure you that there are attorneys out there that will find and sue you if the person with the weapon relied on your advice.
