cops always pull their guns and shoot with not questions asked or any reason that this man had a gun, but only becasue he ran and made them chase...
Just like how cops murder someone for holding a knife, and when they say drop the knife a few times and you don't or say no or whatever other words you choose, they shoot you, then they tell the person in charge like a Sargent or the like, well he didn't drop the knife, I told him to drop the knife...
It all comes don't to you not listening as to why they murder you...
But lets wait for the typical statement from the ass cheek sucking cop lovers...
The first time they were justified in shooting. The second time the police were NOT in front of the vehicle. When you are standing beside a vehicle and firing into it that is murder. Should he have stopped? Yes...was he in the wrong? Yes. Still doesn't give the police permission to kill someone.
No concern here. Police request you to stop, you stop vehicle, apply break, place drive train in Park and turn ignition in off position. You will not get shot, killed or even wounded. Police and Bijan Ghaisar all go home. Routine day if you don't act like you are Above the Law and a dumb ass.

It must be a struggle to get off that white horse and kiss cops butts. Does it wear you out much?

and you know this how? even if true it is no reason to murder the guy. The F.B.I. is investigating so maybe we will find out what happened and why. So far no one seems to know.
The cops were in no danger until they put themselves in "danger". I think they were just pissed that the guy didn't obey. So they shot him to teach a lesson to him and anyone else thinking about not stopping for the park police. The county police didn't fire a single shot.
They were so close to the Jeep they could have easily shot out the tires to impede him from continuing driving away. But I guess they figured 3 shots to the head was a better idea. Overzealous park police. They need to be mentally evaluated at the least.
The video, from the evening of November 17, 2017, shows a police chase that ends with US Park Police (USPP) officers firing nine shots into a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The driver, Bijan Ghaisar, 25, died 10 days later in a hospital. According to the collision report obtained by CNN, Ghaisar was rear-ended that evening while driving southbound on George Washington Memorial Parkway outside Washington, D.C. Occupants of the second vehicle told police that Ghaisar "stopped in the roadway abruptly" before driving away from the scene. The second car suffered damage to the front of the vehicle, the report says, and the driver of that car received a traffic citation. In Virginia, it's illegal to leave the scene of a traffic incident where there's been injury, death, or damage to property.
The USPP have not released any information about the incident and haven't returned CNN's calls for comment. It's unknown if Ghaisar was armed. The names of the officers involved have not been released. The USPP told the Washington Post that the officers involved have been placed on administrative leave.
The video, about four-and-a-half minutes long, begins shortly before Ghaisar's Jeep Grand Cherokee passes the FCPD vehicle at a high speed, closely followed by US Park Police. During the chase, Ghaisar's vehicle stops twice before USPP approach his vehicle with their weapons drawn. Each time, Ghaisar drives away and police give chase again. At no point in the video do the officers appear to be in danger of being hit by Ghaisar's vehicle. Ghaisar's Grand Cherokee stops a third time, and again, the USPP move towards the driver-side window, aiming their guns. When the car inches forward, five gunshots ring out. Four more gunshots are heard before the vehicle rolls into a ditch.
"This disturbing video shows the senseless killing of a young man at the hands of those charged with protecting public safety," attorneys for the Ghaisar family said in a statement Wednesday. "Bijan Ghaisar was repeatedly threatened by over-aggressive and out-of-control law enforcement officers, after he drove away from a minor traffic incident in which he was the victim and in which there was little property damage and no known injuries." The family's statement adds, "No one was even close to being in harm's way" before the officers fired on Ghaisar. The statement also says Ghaisar was unarmed, although it's unclear how the family knows that. It's not clear why Ghaisar fled police when they tried to pull him over, said Roy Austin, one of the Ghaisars' attorneys, on Thursday. "We honestly have no idea," Austin said. "We don't have an explanation."
I am going to guess a car was tailgating him and he hit the brakes, then the other car was unable to stop because it was tailgating. I am sure there is more to this story but right now it does not look good for the U.S. Park Police.
With the information released so far, it doesn't appear to me for them to have a reason to shoot this man.
7:59, thank you for the correction. I do know the difference between brake and break, but unfortunately made a error. I remember making one about twenty, no thirty years ago. Hope it didn't put everyone out too much. It's hard to think straight 9:29, when on top the white horse. My regrets Signed 4:17

What's so "disturbing"?
That's not so disturbing.
