School Closing & Delays

Worcester County Public Schools will open two hours late tomorrow, January 10, 2018, due to inclement weather conditions. There will be no AM Pre-Kindergarten classes. Additionally, Session II of the Afterschool Academies & the Haven House program will now begin on Tuesday, January 16.

Salisbury, Maryland will open a few hours late due to stupidity.

No criminal activity will be permitted between 0800 hrs-1000 hrs.

Joe look at these comments I found posted on the BOE Twitter page from these products of the Wicomico County Schools. They are so dumb they can't even formulate a proper sentence and they were begging the BOE to cancel school last night. By the embarrassing looks of this poor grammar, they've missed quite a few days of school.

I hope we don't because i live on a dead back road street and no snow plow has came down our street and its just soils ice and if we do go I am not coming just to risk to be injured for some school it can wait.

As a father I will be very disappointed in this department for NOT considering the needs and the situations of these kids. I couldn’t even leave my house and go to work or buy groceries the passed few days due to how bad the roads are.

I seriously cannot allow my kids to go to school with these road conditions, neither should any sane parent. All the schools should be canceled tomorrow for sure. This isn’t something that you need to think about or consider.
