Just the tip of the iceberg!
I am sure there are many others in both the city and county that are about to be foreclosed on. There are many banks that allow the delinquent borrowers to live in their homes until the banks can start proceedings on foreclosure. A friend of mine at work lived in her home for over two years before this happened. They would rather have you live in them and maintain them, instead of abandoning them.

My neighbor is fighting foreclosure since May 2016 and is still living there.

A lot due to mortgage loan people and banks for attempting to give to those who can’t afford it. I know many of those people who have foreclosed, filed bankruptcy, or now rent at irrational prices yet act like it’s a great time to buy

Plus many banks closed their 2017 books end of December. IIRC they could carry these loans as underperforming, or such, but once they start to foreclose the loan has to be treated as a loss in progress. They'd rather start that ball rolling early in the year so it can potentially be tidied up by next December.

5:38 PM yea. It's not. People are still trying to get what they paid for it. Everyone is stuck.

Everyone is trying to just make enough to cover the mortgage - forget about what you paid for it. And in some cases trying to get rid of HOA fees that keep going up and no accountability from builder where the money is spent. Talk about stuck!!!!
