BALTIMORE, MD – Maryland Attorney General Brian E. Frosh today joined a coalition of attorneys general urging Congress to advance legislation allowing states with legalized medical or recreational marijuana to bring that commerce into the banking system. Banks and other depository institutions are currently hindered by federal law from providing financial services to marijuana businesses, even in states where those businesses are regulated.
The letter, sent to congressional leaders, requests legislation that would provide a legal “safe harbor” for depository institutions that provide a financial product or service to a covered business in a state that regulates its marijuana industry.

This buffoon is using his office to promote his personal, ultra-liberal agenda instead of doing the work that is the reason for the position for which he is being paid by Maryland's taxpayers.
8:49 AM - The voters of Maryland have approved the cultivation, distribution and use of marijuana for medical purposes. We have medical marijuana dispensaries approved and operational throughout the state. This is not a "personal, ultra-liberal" agenda - ensuring that all legal businesses in the state can function IS part of the job that Maryland's taxpayers are paying for.
The people have spoken and legislation has been past. Our government is still trying to control this issue.
Pretty soon, you'll have to make some choices:
Smoke medical pot - or own a gun!
Smoke recreational pot - or have a job (more will soon require drug testing)!
It will be fun to watch!
All of the recreational marijuana users that I know have jobs. Some are actually very wealthy local business owners.

"Ultra liberal". Lol this is hardly an ultra liberal agenda. The majority of young conservatives are in support of it.
