One Baltimore resident and disable Army veteran, Victor Able, Sr., is fed up with the public education that his son, a 12th grader on the verge of graduation, received from City Neighbors Charter School after he recently tested at 4th grade level in math and 5th grade level in reading. Able says his son was simply passed to the next grade year after year so that his school could continue to receive extra federal funding even though it failed to deliver results. After his complaints fell on deaf ears at city council and the mayor’s office, Able has now hired an attorney to address a system he says is "broken." Per Fox News:
According to the IEP report, the 12th grader reads at a 5th grade level; does math at a 4th grade level.
“It’s not supposed to happen,” stated Able. “I don’t want him to fall out into the streets.”
“They failed my son,” said Able. “Not just my son, a whole lot of kids. The system is broken. They need to stop and fix it.”
Able told Project Baltimore he has hired an attorney and has a meeting with the school later this month.
Confronted with the complaint, City Neighbors released the following generic statement which we can only assume roughly translates to'we allow teachers the "autonomy" to consistently fail and never hold them to account because their union says we're not allowed to'...but that's a very rough translation.

He is a Special Ed kid, LD? EMD? SEM? etc. Alchemy does not exist. A school can not change lead into gold.
We waste a tremendous amount of money on special education. By and large, these kids will never come close to returning to society what funds have been wasted on them.
It is not teachers' fault that ghetto children are not held accountable at home.
Insane. Blaming teachers for everything. How about looking at your own damn neglect of your children? Teachers are not parents nor should they be! Insane. Then we wonder why good teachers quit and only bad ones remain. The pay is terrible for the level of education required, the mind-numbing demands, disrespectful and often-violent children, and ignorant parents.

It is truly pathetic and an embarrassment to the history of education.
They seem to be deliberately dumbing down the population.
Meanwhile the same population consumes a very dangerous neuroexcitor compound, Flouride, at an alarming rate!
The US is totally doomed to become a 3rd world tyranny.
The Mayor is garbage. She wants to give inner city kids FREE college as a way to keep them off the streets. Why? They can't even achieve HS standards.
I guess, if the people that live in Baltimore, continue to elect these failures, there really is nobody to sue.
They'er giving certain persons of color a credit for Lunch to help them pass. Calling is "Social Life Skills".

So we just let them go through life dumber than they have to be? You might have an interesting business outlook but these are people.
Seriously? The pay is terrible? No no no that isn't going to flush anymore! If teachers cared they would demand for the nonsense to stop. Teachers are 98 percent of the problem! All teachers need random urine test, liar detector test and clearance from a board certified head doctor before becoming a teacher.
There is a law in this country for parents that care enough to demand that it be enforced. If your child is not doing well in school due to a learning problem....the public system MUST find a teacher for this child so that he / she keeps up to grade level. Not all parents are perfect....not all children learn at the same level. STOP the blame game and look into something that helps the child. No more blaming the teacher....the parent...the child. No child is going to be a straight A student in all subjects and they are not left on the side of the road unless all these people....teacher...parent...principle... administration....just drop the ball. Imagine a world where all these people pull together for the child.
Funny, those we hold in the highest esteem as civil servants have failed us miserably while enriching themselves with exorbitant salaries and benefits for life. From 1st to 28th in Education in the world in 40 years. Leftist Teachers, Unions and Administration have worked diligently to destroy American values, respect and discipline in schools. The liberal infested educational system keeps pumping out kids that can't read, write, do basic skills...they are the future Democratic voters, having been told it's not their fault they can't function and will be "taken care" of (via the taxpayers).
I am not a teacher but I'm in the public Schools often and one thing I will say is teacher's are way under paid. I would not last a half day with your disrespectful little pos. God bless all teacher's for they have a thankless job. Oh just to fill you in these juvenile correctional school are the fault of uneducated and uncaring parents.
Did the parent ever read to the kid when he was a child? Are there books in the home? A no to both questions says that the parents screwed the pooch on one huge opportunity.

Typical dumbing down the people by public education. The dumber they are the more the government can control them. public education also brainwashes them with a one world liberal point of view.
Females have learned that they can get a monthly check from Uncle Sam. All the need is to get pregnant and let the baby daddy go on to the next girl.
Now you have a single female with a baby(babies) who doesn't work and expects a teacher to raise the kid(s) while the government has removed the necessary tools and skills from the teacher in order to have control of his/her classroom. This is a system designed for failure from the beginning.
