The group of about 100 UVa students, faculty and community members gathered despite the rain to deride the university’s response to the summer’s wave of white nationalist demonstrations.
They covered the UVa founder’s statue in black, mimicking the city’s decision to shroud the statues of Confederate generals Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson in the wake of the violent Aug. 12 rally that resulted in one death and dozens of injuries.

Why don't they go to the projects and demand for the shootings to stop? Why doesn't every BLM member turn in a drug dealer or gang member in their community's put the dealers name on Facebook? Why doesn't ALL 100 go to the projects feed people and pick up trash and provide help to the black elderly? Nah chuck and Nancy don't want that.
Why are police just allowing destruction of property? The kicker to me is what do all these white teens know about being black? Because they listen to rap that qualify for the struggles or plight of the blacks

I've been called a racist, deplorable, and a white nationalist. All because I love my country. Truth is I could care less if your gay, black, brown, or purity much any thing else. Now if your a thug I will call you a thug, if your a man snd you want to go to the bathroom with my little girl we will have issues. If your white and want to burn the American flag we will have a problem. So call me what you want because you liberals will never define me but my actions will.
Ah yes. The brave and forward-thinking folks who shroud statues.

And so much easier than reducing crime or improving education or creating jobs. You know, the kind of things that would actually help the descendants of slaves.

Washington must be renamed! He was a mean slave owner! Blow up all of the monuments to the founders/slave owners. Rename DC, Oprah City, and add under his name on Mt. Rushmore "Slave Owner".
