SPRINGFIELD, MO. - A Joplin High School teacher told a student that she was too "busty" and kicked her out of class for a dress code violation, according to an attorney who represents the teen.
Kelsey Anderson, 17, was wearing a long-sleeved maroon top and blue jeans on Friday when the teacher told Anderson that "plus-sized women" need to shop at stores that sell plus-sized clothes, according to a news release from attorney Elizabeth Turner.
The female teacher allegedly added: "Smaller busted women could get away with more than larger busted women."
Anderson said she was "mortified" that her teacher said those things in front of the class.

Doesn't that make her a misogynist? I have more against the jeans than the shirt!
Wow. Guess that teach doesn't value her job!
How much more can she wear? Oh maybe she can wear a burka.....
Jealousy has probably drove the female teacher to be cruel. Photo is not large or clear enough to make out, but what I see is a lovely young girl.
I'm a super conservative female and her outfit is fine!
Teacher was just trying to teach the girl some fashion points, but she should have done it privately, or not at all.
The ripped up jeans are currently considered in fashion. Unless the top was extremely sheer it seems ok, even modest in comparison to what local girls wear to school.
Heck, my high school demanded we are allowed to wear "clean, Western cut pants", so I wore a brand new pair of blue jeans and was promptly called to the office! With Codebook in hand, I pointed out to Mr Belz that my pants were legal. He sent me home anyway and quickly added the "No jeans" rule to the book.
We all got new Code books the next week!
That wasn't the only rule change that was made after my visit to the world, LOL!
Unless those jeans are made out of spandex, she outgrew them about 30 pounds ago. I can't imagine how difficult it must have been for her to put them on. That being said, I would not publicly fat shame her for dressing in an embarrassing fashion. It's her choice to dress like that, and perhaps she THINKS it makes her look attractive. And maybe it does, to some people. The ones that like larger built women, perhaps.
Nothing wrong whatsoever with what she is wearing.

See? That's just what I was talking about. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some think Honey BooBoo's mother is attractive.
