A Marine veteran from Indiana further highlighted the NFL’s public relations nightmare this week by burning season tickets over the league’s tolerance of national anthem protests.
Rodney Heard of Carmel is making waves with Indianapolis Colts fans over a Facebook video that shows the destruction of his season tickets. The U.S. Marine Corps veteran’s angry message for the NFL was featured bylocal Fox News and CW affiliates after players took a knee during Sunday’s game at Lucas Oil Stadium.
“I’ve loved the NFL, I always have,” Mr. Heard said in a video posted Monday. “I’ve always been a huge fan. Wish I could’ve played in the NFL if I’ve had the athletic ability. Instead, I went into the Marine Corps. I served my country, my grandfather served our country, both of them served in WWII. There’s a lot of people that fought and died for that flag and to be disrespected yesterday, like we did, and I’m done.”
The Facebook clip was viewed nearly 125,000 times within 24 hours, not counting those who saw it on local newscasts.

Only a fool would bite the hand that feeds them..
when the snowball effect happens, their ratings will go in the crapper!
Those videos are awesome!!
But all these ppl were ok with watching domestic abusers, accused rapist, and murders but kneeling for the flag is too much?
Maxine use to be a bus girl at 13 yo in a all white restaurant no wonder she hates white people but she loved there $$$$$$$$$$
9:20 Quit with that crap ok? No one was ever ok with the domestic violence, murder, or rapists of the national felony league. You can't do much about that when the NFL doesn't even discipline them but the flag is another story. That flag is the one thing that should be uniting us as Americans. Instead those dumba$$es chose to kneel and spit in the face of every American.
Did you stop watching football because of the rapists and abusers playing? Probably not. You obviously feel the same way the kneelers do.
Nothing will get their attention more than empty seats at the game, and TV sets turned off, or to another channel. The players might not be smart enough to realize that (they aren't a particularly smart bunch anyhow) but the owners are very smart and successful Billionaires. If the players insist on continuing to hijack the game for their political protests, the sport will die, or the owners will do exactly what Trump suggested, Fire Them!
