The FBI released its official crime tally for 2016 on Monday, and the data flies in the face of the rhetoric that professional athletes rehearsed in revived Black Lives Matter protests over the weekend.
Nearly 900 additional blacks were killed in 2016 compared with 2015, bringing the black homicide-victim total to 7,881. Those 7,881 “black bodies,” in the parlance of Ta-Nehisi Coates, are 1,305 more than the number of white victims (which in this case includes most Hispanics) for the same period, though blacks are only 13 percent of the nation’s population.
The increase in black homicide deaths last year comes on top of a previous 900-victim increase between 2014 and 2015.
Who is killing these black victims? Not whites, and not the police, but other blacks.

Facts don't matter to the whiners.
Politics do not belong in the sports arena, regardless of what you believe. Disrespecting our country and all those who fought for our freedoms, especially while you are at work, and then having your bosses do the same, sends a clear message to sports fans. So we can respond to your protests by protesting your games until you show some respect for our flag, our national anthem, and all they stand for. Fellow fans should stay home and watch something else on tv.

They have donated time and money (check Kapernick's record) to educate the youth and stop the violence. This is all readily available info but we already know you guus dont care about facts. Oh BS! Kapernick donated some money and was involved in some camp that amounted to about a few days. What these facts prove is if in fact they are doing something they are doing it wrong. The black on black murder rate is soaring. What they need to do is start TELLING THE TRUTH and that is the reason and the only reason for all the black communities social problems is the complete breakdown of the black family. At this point in time anything else they supposedly are doing to help the black community is just grandstanding and showboating.
The NFL is protesting police brutality which in the scheme of things plaguing black communities becomes a non issue. Things like 74 percent of black Americans being born out of wedlock. If this is solved then so is most everything else. The black on black violence is at epidemic levels. Where is the passion for this issue from the NFL.
It's really 6.5 % doing the killing as the majority of offenders are male.If blacks refuse to accept their part then there will never be consensus or peace.
