Hugh Hefner has died at 91

Hugh Hefner has died at 91. He founded Playboy magazine in 1953, and became inseparable from the lifestyle brand he created.

Hugh Hefner, who created Playboy magazine and spun it into a media and entertainment-industry giant — all the while, as its very public avatar, squiring attractive young women (and sometimes marrying them) well into his 80s — died Wednesday at his home, the Playboy Mansion near the Beverly Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles. He was 91.

His death, from natural causes, was announced by Playboy Enterprises Inc.

Don't get me wrong, I admired Hefner, but I find it hypocritical that celebrities are currently praising him for the life he lead and the people he impacted. However, if certain other people did the same then they would be call a misogynist, sexist, pig, womanizer, etc...

RIP Hugh Hefner - I'll never forget that first Playboy mag that I "read"
