City Judges Say They Won’t Attend Governor’s Meeting On Crime Fight

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — With murders in Baltimore surging, city judges say they want to stay out of politics and will not attend the closed-door gathering with the governor and other key players in the crime fight.

WJZ Investigator Mike Hellgren has a closer look at the judge’s reasons and the governor’s blunt response.

Both the governor and mayor don’t like that the judges aren’t attending, but the meeting is going to
happen anyway at the ‘all hands on deck’ gathering to try to get a handle on violence.

The number of murders in Baltimore is on pace to break a record. Among the victims a 15- year-old, Jeffrey Quick, 97- year-old Wadell Tate, and a father of 12, Derek Ford.

The States Attorney for some reason is hell bent on arresting le for doing routine police work. Cops are being arrested for just about everything. Most are found NOT GUILTY by a judge. The Governor refused to step in therefore LE has become reactive instead of proactive.... I clearly remember BLM NOT wanting Police patrolling their NEIGHBORHOODS because it was racist. BLM got what they wanted. I don't see a problem with it. Salisbury is getting CLOSE to this. Few more cop HATERS constantly bashing le and it will happen.

RINO Larry Hogan needs to keep his A$$ out of Baltimore City. They don't like him and they won't vote for him. I am sick and tired of RINO Larry dumping billions of dollars in Baltimore City. This is a stupid move and he is only attempting to buy votes from black Democrats at the white tax payers expense. Shame on you Larry Hogan!

Why should they attend? They want to put up a false narrative. They know Hogan's plans. He is just another Democrat. IF Hogan is not then why has he not passed a law giving Marylanders the right to carry and make MD a right to carry state. He has made no attempt to proceed with his election statements. He has not attempted to battle Miller and Busch.

Judges cannot and should not attend such a meeting as it would be a glaring example of a conflict of interest.
Would the judges attend meeting arranged by gang members to address police and prosecutor misconduct?

"Leadership" is in a sad state of affairs when it won't even support other "leadership". We have been used to "leadership" that doesn't support us, the citizenry but now they are at each other's throats.

Now, gentlemen, squeeze, squeeze, squeeze, until all signs of life are gone and have ended. That would be better public service than anything you have ever done thus far.
