Why You’re Being Invited to Fewer Weddings

You’re not the only one spending fewer summer weekends watching other people get married—but don’t worry, the weddings you’re still invited to might feel a little more special these days.

Fewer Americans are getting married, and the ones who still are have scaled back their weddings. Their nuptials are becoming smaller, though not necessarily cheaper, affairs.

Many couples are waiting longer and longer to schedule their weddings. In 2015, the median first-time American bride was almost 28 years old and the median groom almost 30, according to the most recent data available from the Census Bureau. (Ten years earlier, the typical bride was 25.5, the typical groom 27.)

The U.S. marriage rate—the number of new marriages per 1,000 people—has been falling for decades. It fell especially fast during the recession, in 2008 and 2009, but there’s little evidence that people started getting married again even as the economy recovered. And research firm IbisWorld predicts the marriage rate will keep falling over the next five years.

Most of the young people I work with just live together. They say it is no big deal, people just don't really care about that anymore.
They also say, if you have a kid, the girl can get welfare faster, the delivery is all paid for by the government.
Foodstamps, WIC, and even childcare is offered to the new mom.
One couple said they are now better off then when she and him both worked! Now he works a little, and she is staying home making a tax free, work free income thru free benefits paid for by the dummies that work!

I believe the globalists and propagandists have convinced the young people to not marry.
Hollywood has helped with the agenda.
Instead, we are seeing more and more young people simply continuing life as a single or choosing to live together.
I am also amazed at how very fast the homosexual agenda has taken root in Amerika!
This agenda is going to succeed in reducing the number of births among white people in particular in my opinion.
The globalists are very very effective at getting their agendas to go mainstream.
The media is very powerful and showing its effectiveness at propaganda.

A big wedding is the worst kind of waste of money I can think of.

36 years ago, my wife and I went to the justice of the peace and it cost 20 bucks.

Why buy the cow, when you can get the milk for free.

It is becoming no different than a baptism at my church. You go to the court house to get the license, then you get your pastor to do the ceremony, sign the license and you get a certificate of marriage. Immediate family and a celebration at someone's home, then off for the honeymoon which is just a regular vacation. I am planning to attend a wedding like this in October. Wedding will be outdoors at a home with a nice backyard and then a outdoor cookout later with friends and family southern style. This is what you do when money is tight, but still want to celebrate. The days of fancy weddings and extravagant receptions are for the most part over for the average person. This is now a luxury for the rich or upper middle class.

Are you unaware of the globalists agendas?
You are naive, sir.

Educate yourself.
