SALISBURY, Md. – We respectfully regret the R. Kelly "After Party" concert at the WYCC in Salisbury, MD on May 14, 2017, has been cancelled due to unexpected circumstances. This cancellation is solely the decision of the organizers.
Ticket holders who paid with credit card will be automatically refunded within seven working days.
Ticket holders who paid with cash must contact the Box Office concerning their refund. These ticket holders will receive a refund check. Please allow at least two weeks to receive your check.
If you have any questions, please call the Box Office at 410-548-4911.

How much money did our Civic Center have in bringing him here. Was it a co-promote event? If so, then how much of our tax dollars have we lost? I agree this has been cancelled due to lack of ticket sales & the promoter wasn't going go lose his shirt over this.

I never even heard about this concert until it was cancelled. So I can't imagine that it was very well advertised and that's why not a lot of tickets were sold.

Organizers realized they had a security issue with the fans that were attracted to the venue. There was mayhem and murder in the forecast.
The management of the Civic Center definitely does not know its client and market base for this area. Singers like him command outrageous money to perform, with other ridiculous needs and compensation. He does not care about the public or fans he sings to, just what's in it for him. Good ridence, we don't need your type of entertainment.
