WJZ’s Pat Warren reports, the family of a domestic violence victim made this a personal crusade.
The law is named after the Prince George’s County woman who’s ex-boyfriend broke into her house and slashed her throat even after she requested a restraining order against him.
Maryland’s General Assembly turned to technology to help do what people cannot — monitor the location of domestic violence abusers under restraining orders to help protect victims like Amber Shinault.

The cases agaunst men need to be verified as accurate..... Certainly, some are abusers, but the courts side with a women regardless that they are mental health subjects hooked on prescription opiates....I know of men who been falsely accused, but the sheriff's offuce and courts do not investigate the claims...just go after the men....very sexist of our criminal justice system..
Should be required for sex offenders too if crime involved children or violence.
All sex offenders who make the list should be made to wear the trackers. They are made to post an address and report when and if they move....BUT....that is not happening.
Restraining orders are useless and so will be the gps tracker.
Nothing is going to stop them, other than the victim owning a gun.
I speak from experience.

You need help with your reading comprehension. No where did he state he supports domestic violence. He said to make SURE to verify it is accurate. I too have seen people falsely accused of a crime they did not commit because I was a witness. The police are human they get it wrong sometimes but they need to not always blame the male just because a woman says so.
