Almost four months after her stunning defeat, Hillary Clinton on Thursday primarily blamed her loss to President Donald Trump on four factors that were beyond her control.
The former Democratic presidential candidate cited Russian meddling in the election, FBI Director James Comey's involvement toward the end of the race, WikiLeaks theft of emails from her campaign chairman, and misogyny.
Clinton's comments came during her first post-election interview at Tina Brown's eighth annual Women in the World Summit in New York City. She was questioned by Nicholas Kristof of The New York Times.
She largely cited these factors for her defeat:
- Russia. "A foreign power meddled with our election," she said, labeling it "an act of aggression." She called for an independent, bipartisan investigation into the Kremlin's involvement and said the probe should examine whether there was collusion with the Trump campaign.

The typical left blame game. I am sure it has absolutely nothing to do for the fact that she is a complete idiot and liar..
I will not even read this post with anything to do with that nasty failure.
Noone wants to hear any more from her or Bill or Chelsi !!!!
Yeah, other than those four things, her campaign was perfect.
No explanation necessary, Crooked H.
She lost to President Trump, wish she would get lost on her walks in the woods.
Russia?? Russia convinced MILLIONS of Americans that, yes, their jobs were disappearing, their health care costs (despite the rosy lies used to sell it) were becoming unbearable, prices were rising while their wages stagnated and their hours cut, and other countries were laughing at the USA??
Americans never knew any of that until the Russians said it.
Oh right. They never said any of that.
American saw it on their own. A democrat candidate who was more concerned with the feelings of every cross dressing weirdo than they were with the feelings of the mothers who worried about their 6 year old daughter in a closed room with a 60 year old man "identifying" as a girl. A candidate who almost demanded election based on her gender alone. A candidate who avoided appearing in public for days at a time during the peak of the campaign. A candidate who actually corralled reporters (!) and refused interviews for weeks. A candidate who knowingly cheated during the debates (she received the questions in advance). A candidate who shrilly demanded that Trump accept the results of the election (she was POSITIVE she was a lock), but then refused to accept them herself when she lost.
And on and on and on.
Trust me. It WASN'T the Russians.
