The news media is dwelling on President Donald Trump's wiretapping allegations when there are "so many things" for them to discuss, Newsmax CEO Christopher Ruddy said Sunday.
"I do think that the press is harping on this," Ruddy said on ABC's "This Week with George Stephanopoulos," before mentioning a recent poll showing 54 percent of Americans believe the media is being too tough on Trump.
Trump two weeks ago tweeted that former President Barack Obama had wiretapped his phones at Trump Tower during the presidential election, allegations FBI Director James Comey is expected to undercut Monday at a House Intelligence Committee hearing.
