More than 9,800 Wal-Mart employees in Maryland received a share of more than $2 million in cash bonuses, the company announced.

The bonuses, and an annual pay raise, were included in paychecks for March 9, the company said in a press release. The company doled out more than $700 million in bonuses for the full fiscal year.

The company shared its strongest comparable-store sales performance of the year with a 1.8 percent increase in its fourth quarter.

Take a gander in how much they cost us in welfare because they won't pay their employees a higher wage

Or how their refusal to secure their store costs police AND taxpayers billions. No kidding some police departments are so sick of it they just don't respond anymore

2:57 They don't cost us a penny in welfare. We cost ourselves for welfare by allowing people who shouldn't be collecting it to collect. If they weren't employed by WM they would still be collecting welfare. If WM paid them more they would hire fewer people resulting in longer checkout lines(already getting to long, have you noticed there are more self check out terminals) or we would pay higher prices for the things we need.
