Between the UMES fight post and the Anti Trump Rally posts, believe me, several hundred, (if not more) saw the trash instantly.
One thing each one of you need to understand is the fact that our elected officials read Salisbury News. I can assure you, once an article goes up it doesn't take more then 10 minutes before someone in Annapolis is calling and sometimes a representative from the Governor's Office.
So if you want to make a difference, post your comment. We truly don't care if it's anonymous, your comment is truly influential and in many cases scares the crap out of our elected officials.
The fact that we recently started publishing our daily traffic, these elected officials are in awe because they thought it was just talk or perhaps I was exaggerating. Now they know different and so do all of you.
While it takes a lot to moderate all these comments 24/7, it's vital to prove that Salisbury News is carrying far more influence to REALISTIC input on a local level. With all the fake news from other media sources who only tell one side and rarely ever the full story, your comments are being heard after we expose them for their lack of telling the whole story. KEEP THE COMMENTS COMING!
When and if you look at other media sources, notice their extremely low comment numbers. WHY, because this is a very well planned out strategy by the Liberal Party. They are forcing you to use your real name on Facebook so people will be afraid to disagree and be retaliated against them. We all know from past experience, this is so true here on the Shore.
Crooked elected officials can come back and say, we didn't see any negative comments on the main stream media sites. This is how they get anything and everything through, while we sit back scratching our heads thinking, how the hell did that happen. How convenient. Now you know why the MSM are still surviving. Local government leaders desperately need them to continue their Liberal Agenda and this is another reason why President Trump uses Twitter and Social Media. It's the only way the facts and truth can get to you.

Thanks Joe for all of your hard work and keeping me informed, no where else to go but your blog
For some of those of us who spent a daily morning hour checking the news from a multitude of sources over a cup (or three) of coffee, SBYNews provides a snapshot of much of the news we seek, including local issues. It's definitely preferable to the overly bright colors and obnoxious noise of TV news and the accompanying commercials that are an assault to the senses and, far too often, the sensibilities of its viewers.
I can tell you from personal experience that sources connected to Gannett frequently remove comments they disagree with.. leftist commenters complain and the comment is removed because of some so-called 'violation' of their posting policies. (It appears to be a team sport..)
So these politicians that think they are doing ok because of what they see there should keep that in mind.
Joe I cannot wait to see Pres. Trump send you an article or comment. You know he has gotten wind of your blog in such a RED state. That will put these non-sayers in their place. Keep up the great work and we thank your family for allowing you to operate this site.
