What is the idea of giving him 30 years, but he only has to do 10, and if good, will be out in 6, this is pure BS! It sounds good that he got 30 years, but then it is watered down to almost nothing.
Interstate kidnapping. Isn't that a federal crime?

Yes, taking a person over state lines during a kidnapping is federal, guy should have been given over to the Feds, might actually have to serve 30 years instead of the great deal less he got.
Judge needs to be replaced, give a criminal 30 years and make him serve it.
