I find it interesting that OR 2412 has only had a second reading. When I got my paperwork for my 1 rental (mid-January), my landlord fee had already been raised from $40 to $60; my 1 unit fee had also already been raised from $40 to $60. Bringing what use to be an extra $80 in city licensing fees to $120 in city licensing fees. And they really don't do anything except send a piece of paper that says, yep your a landlord. At which point, I put my 1 unit up for sale, and it sold within a week of it being put on the market. This is the only property I own as a rental, and was dumb enough to try and create a business in the dung hole of Salisbury. No more city taxes, fees, or other BS, I hope the City coffers drown when they realize what they have done to deter revenue streams.
