Sally Sarratt and Maria Swearingen were presented to the congregation during worship services Jan. 8 and are set to begin their new jobs Feb. 26.
A spokeswoman for the congregation said she didn’t know whether a gay couple leading a church was a first for Baptists.
“We look for the best people in the world and that’s who they were,” said Carol Blythe. “We’re very excited.”

I had a church I loved with all my heart until a new person came in to take over. We had been warned about him....but never in my mind did I ever expect what came our way. That was many many years ago and this person is still preaching here and there. I have tried going back to church over the years but I cannot wrap my mind around what has happen to the church. Sad.
I would be bailing out of that church in a heartbeat. Obviously they don't follow the Bible.

Keep this in mind!! Progressives/Democrats are anti-Christian so putting two Homos in as co-pastors is nothing but a way to promote their Homo Promiscuity and it will reel in the weak minded and help turn religious people into anti-Christian Homo lovers.
In the bible it says"A man shall not lay with a man as a with a woman". it is very clear the bible speaks out against homosexuality. It also says if he does they should both be stoned to death. Also in the book of Timothy it says a Pastor should be the husband of one wife. That indicates to me that a Pastor should be a man not a woman. And it should be a man that was married one time not divorced and remarried. The bible also say a woman should not usurp authority over a man. That means they should not preach or teach over a man and definitely not be the head of the church.
are these the same baptist who rant against the poope, drink, and everything but homosexuality? how far they have fallen!
