A top member of Donald Trump's presidential inaugural committee says he can't understand why some lawmakers may boycott the president-elect's swearing in on Jan. 20th.
"It saddens me to a degree," Boris Epshteyn, the committee's communications director, said Friday to Steve Malzberg on "America Talks Live."
"We are uniting this country, we are bringing it together. It was a tough political campaign, no question about it, but the American people have spoken and I'm not quite sure what there is to protest.
"It's pretty rich for these Democrats who are crying about any comment Mr. Trump made about making sure this election was proper and had integrity. Now they're saying, what, they're somehow not agreeing to it? What's the protest?"

He's done nothing but divide the American people
You're talking about Obama, right?
Our Congress, great role models for our "yoots!"
4:07. I totally agree with you.
525 Obama divided nothing. The media clowns like Limbaugh love Obama. For the last 8 years it was these media clowns who laughed all the way to the bank while they divided the country knowimg folks like you would believe whatever narrative they spun
It would be a good thing if they didn't surface. The fresh air for those attending shall be a welcome change.
Imagine the odor flowing from the failed candidate and by the decaying Pelosi fixture, if there.
Sorry if that offends any political correct citizens, just my point of view.
4:07 has to be talking about obama. Obama divided the country, more then any other president. Anyone who feels he is something to emulate or worship have a mental disease.(libtarded) Trump will unite this country and marginlize the socialist marxist..i.e Democrats.
Dems, Libs, Progressives, Obama, Hillary Clinton have Always divided along race, economic, gender and so much more. Shame on them. So glad they're gone, at least for now. Pray President Trump and his team do a great job. So far his choices for leadership are great. Feeling very hopeful as much of the nation does as well. At last, morning in America has come.
