The Huffington Post will end its months-long editor's note referring to Donald Trump as "racist" in an effort to start with a "clean slate," according to news reports on Tuesday.
For months, stories on Trump carried this disclaimer at the end:
"Editor’s note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims — 1.6 billion members of an entire religion — from entering the U.S."
However, Huffington Post Washington Bureau Chief Ryan Grim told staffers in a memo that the website planned to "start with a clean slate,"according to Politico.

Where are the cops NOWHERE......
To late, revoke their press credentials immediately! Label them as prejudice and bias.
They are working on the pay for play and email cases. Hillary going to jail.
If it bleeds it leads...nothing ever changes....EVER.
If they are admitting to being partisan in the past ad wanting to change skin, is that not reason enough to cancel their "Press" credentials?
If that won't it, what will? Ever?
Are "Press credentials" even a valid thing any more?
I mean, what are press credentials if you advertise you are a leopard changing its spots?
Mainstream media, riots and movie stars got trump elected. Silent majority will only take so much abuse.... don't lie to the people. Don't intimidate the people and don't tell them who they should vote for from your ivory towers.
Huffington Post has been owned by AOL since 2011. Founder recently left, and it wasn't because they were too profitable.
AOL is now owned by Verizon (mid 2015).
Gonna have to clean up their act since a new broom will be sweeping in DC, and a snarky footnote may come back to bite the corporate parent!
Simple as that.
We stand with Trump on those specifics. Behind him all the way.
If any news media publishes or announces anything untrue, it should be brought to light and they should have to prove it or suffer consequences. They either report actual news or claim to the public openly that they are opinionated tabloids or shows to entertain only. Otherwise, prove what you say or be ready for lawsuits.
