Document with official letterhead announces preparation, training for takeover
U.S. military drills on American streets and roads, on public lands and in cities and towns long have prompted fears that the federal government is preparing to impose martial law.
Military vehicles are suspect whenever they’re in public, with or without cause, and suspicions have been fueled by recent massive federal power grabs such as Obamacare.
But this week a military base in Colorado is throwing cold water all over the coals of a rumor that appeared on the Internet.
The spark came from an image that purports to be from Fort Carson.
The stationery is labeled “Department of the Army, Headquarters, 4th Infantry,” and it is described as a “Memorandum for the Record.”
The subject?
“Preparation for Martial Law.”

Can't wait for it to happen before you train. After all, how far off is Chicago from needing Marshall law?
The president roll is Commander and Chief of the military , he has and will by-pass any steps congress takes to prevent this. Congress is nothing more than a group of pussies without ethics or religion.
Having said that , many of us have been prepared for martial law for years.
Bring it !
I knew that this memo was a fake when I first saw it. There are some telltale mistakes in the formatting that never would let it see the light of day if it were coming from an official office.

It's martial law, not Marshall law.
Martial refers to military.
A marshal (one L) is a law enforcement officer.
Marshall is usually someone's last name.
Memo is not written in proper "Army speak". Somebody made this up.

he would be declaring martial law enforced by the marshall law of the land.
these marshalls would have significant power over the martians . Having said that , if you see green men that are armed , take cover.
To the people who are excited by the prospect of martial law- why are you so thrilled at the possibility? Whenever this topic arises you seem impatient for it to start. Can you tell me why? I don't understand.
I knew a guy once with the first name of Marshall and a store also. They even spelled it for you in the post. Sheesh!
I've got my hands full with marital law!
I would like to go to the Marshall Islands, meet a nice island girl, live in the jungle, build a big tree house like the Swiss Family Robinson did......
I'm avoiding marshmallows this weekend!
