Now FBI director faces congressional probe

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte has a lot of questions for FBI Director James Comey, given the news that Comey won't recommend criminal charges against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for her mishandling of classified information.

"It is clear that Secretary Clinton possibly jeopardized the safety and security of our citizens and nation through her use of private email servers," the Virginia Republican said in a Tuesday statement. "None should be above the law, and the American people need to know that federal law enforcement is taking this misconduct seriously."

Goodlatte "raised several concerns" with Comey in a phone call and peppered him with questions in a letter following up on that conversation. The inquiries centered on how Comey concluded that Clinton shouldn't be prosecuted for "gross negligence" in light of his conclusion that she showed "extreme carelessness" in handling classified information, including top-secret military information.

If it had been a Republican candidate, male or female, you can bet your bottom dollar they would have been charged and arrested and on trial immediately!

It is a double standard and this DOES LET you know, cops are above the law and so are politicians and presidents and anyone else who is not the salve... Gross negligence is a crime, yet they won't indite her, I don't know what is more funny, the fact that you people didn't see this coming in the first place or the fact that you still don't realize there are laws us slaves have to follow and the non slaves have a different set of laws, or the fact that this govt is doing everything in their power to slap you in the face all the while, they are telling you, they will slap you in the face...

We kinda knew this was coming. Congress asked the FBI to look into this and they feel like they were shafted. Plus the Lynch Clinton meeting was a horrible optic. It's time they got called to principal's office to explain themselves. The timing and optics indicate there's corruption afoot. They're blowing DC's cover.
