Limbaugh: FBI’s Comey ‘eerily similar’ to John Roberts

Accuses director of rewriting law like chief justice of Supreme Court

WASHINGTON –
Analyzing the announcement by FBI Director James Comey not to recommend charges against Hillary Clinton in her email scandal, talk-radio megastar Rush Limbaugh said it “sounds very similar to what Chief Justice John Roberts did with Obamacare.”

Roberts famously rewrote the Obamacare law to find it constitutional, and former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy reacted to the Comey announcement with an article titled, “FBI rewrites federal law to let Hillary off the hook.”

McCarthy said Comey made a major mistake in letting Clinton escape charges just because he found no sign of her intent to break the law.

Since when has "intent" had anything to do with being guilty?

By extension...if one does not intend to hurt anyone by driving impaired they would not be guilty if caught?

SO.......if I get stopped by a police officer for going 80 mph in a 40 mph zone but tell them I didn't intend to I should be let go? Wow. Some justice system.
