Why Britain Left

The June 23 vote represents a huge popular rebellion against a future in which British people feel increasingly crowded within—and even crowded out of—their own country.

I said goodnight to a gloomy party of Leave-minded Londoners a few minutes after midnight. The paper ballots were still being counted by hand. Only the British overseas territory of Gibraltar had reported final results. Yet the assumption of a Remain victory filled the room—and depressed my hosts. One important journalist had received a detailed briefing earlier that evening of the results of the government’s exit polling: 57 percent for Remain.

The polling industry will be one victim of the Brexit vote. A few days before the vote, I met with a pollster who had departed from the cheap and dirty methods of his peers to perform a much more costly survey for a major financial firm. His results showed a comfortable margin for Remain. Ten days later, anyone who heeded his expensive advice suffered the biggest percentage losses since the 2008 financial crisis.

what we learned last night is that polls and pundits are utterly worthless. They got this wrong. They will get out election votes wrong. Their whole goal in life is just to demoralize you and trick you into staying home. Don't let them win. TRUMP 2016!!

I think this move for the Brits is a good one. I think America can learn something from this.

@1:35 please explain how it was a good move

1:55-1:35 apparently does not have stocks or a 401K.

Why would anyone have stocks in their retirement account?
The markets are totally rigged. How many times to you need to see evidence of it?

2:24; If you are implying that the minuscule drop in the markets today outweighs the decades long depreciation in the USD, you have no clue how the world works. don't worry you will be back to 100% of your already raped retirement in less than a month. The buying fury on the gbp is so high right now that the forex sites are crashing.

1:55; Can you give one reason it was a bad move? I can give one really good reason for them to leave. They will be no longer tied to a ruling body that only cares about their existence when the plebs agree with them. They brought their future back within their control.

POLITICS ARE LOCAL! Unless you are a democrat and need that .01% vote from across the country.

The UK stood up for itself last night, and while it will be difficult for them to reunite, the end result will be a better union. It is almost forecasting November here in the US. pollsters say that Hillary has the lead and nothing can beat her and the (pissed off) silent majority slaps down central planning. The UK did nothing more than shed a massive liability. They did it for the good of their country. The US is not far behind.

If anything, people should be shorting the euro right now.

America needs to pull out of the UN, and NAFTA. We need to get this up for our vote!
