The voters’ decision to jettison Britain’s membership in the European Union was expected to jolt markets worldwide on Friday and unsettle Western capitals. By the time the BBC had called the result at dawn in London on Friday, the pound had already plummeted to its lowest level against the dollar in decades.
The vote is perhaps the most dramatic to date in a wave of populist and nationalist uprisings occurring on both sides of the Atlantic that are overturning traditional notions of what is politically possible.
The vote will have a profound effect on the E.U., which will lose a major military and diplomatic power. “This looks to be a sad day for Europe and for Britain,” said Germany’s foreign minister, Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

The EURO was created by the globalists as a means of NWO control over Europe. This is the beginning of the end of the biggest failed Socialist experiment. Communism how ever mixed in with other forms of GOV is doomed to failure.
Don't know if it was a shock at all. When Germany is running the show and telling your country what it can and can not do. Especially with Germany ruined Europe with the refugees. NO SURPRISE AT ALL!!! Many will follow! !
actually germany runs the eu. they are taking over control by another means, since war didn't work out to well for them they are now trying to do it by economics! merkal and junker are the problem!

Does the UK have strict voting laws like:
Only citizens can vote.
Voter ID is required.

If so, it certainly tells the people in the colonies that we're doing it wrong by allowing everyone to vote (by bribing them with free $4it), allowing some to vote more than once, and allowing the dead to vote.
Again, if so, that's the only way to hear the will of the people.
Will be interesting to see what the markets do here today. I'm sure our 401k's will take a hit!!! I think the British made the right decision. They are taking their country back!!!
I am shocked that the vote was allowed to flush out this way. I figured that the powers that be would rig it. I am happy that the peoples voice was heard. Now we need to do the same thing and vote Trump in. It would be nice to partner with Britain again in a way that is not meant to destroy countries and deprive people of their god given rights.

Who cares about stocks? We need to care about countries like theirs doing this! We need to do this! I'd gladly loose my investments to see Americans able to vote in this manner! We need to vote everything! Should vote on everything! No more handfuls of people saying what millions need! Let the millions say what they need!
