Baltimore and Harford County Delegate Pat McDonough began circulating a petition calling for the removal of Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby.
McDonough, a Republican who is running for Congress against incumbent Democrat Dutch Ruppersberger, accuses Mosby of political grand standing in her office's prosecution of the six officers charged in Gray's death.
McDonough will talk about his petition at a news conference tomorrow.
“The people of Maryland and specifically Baltimore have had enough of Marilyn Mosby’s political grandstanding. This was a baseless, malicious prosecution from the beginning and she should drop the remaining charges and then resign,” stated McDonough in a news release.

Step back for a moment and realize what a good thing this has been. This may be the best thing that has happened to & for police nationwide in a long time.Only good can come of this because it will be less likely to occur as routinely in the future BECAUSE of this.I can't be outraged at something that's had end results this good.
Where do I sign? She is a moron.
And don't forget that Dutch Ruppersberger (D) is one of the members of Congress staging the "great sit-in" on gun control laws while being a gun owner (most likely with a CCW) himself. This "Do as I say, not as I do", mentality has to stop so let's all back Pat McDonough for Congress!
Funny all these political s sound off now. Where were they when the rest of us called for her head. This case was crap from the start. She needs to go how can any police officer ever trust her again. She has big ties in Philthydelphia she and Nick should move there. They are both crooks and always have been
Another point would be, how did she ever get the position?
Was she their best choice, if the qualified candidate had been hired this would not be a issue.
Dave T: Out, out, out she should go. The sooner the better. Clearly Ms. Mosby has a problem with race issues.
She got her position because of her family political ties. Her and the Mayor should be held accountable and forced to pay back the Tax Payer for the settlement that was handed out to the Gray family prior to start of the trials.
