For the first time in the history of the NFL draft, the University of Tennessee has gone back-to-back years without at least one player taken.
The 2015 draft was the first time since 1963 that the Vols did not have at least one player taken. The only other year since the draft's inception in 1936 that the Vols did not have a player taken was the 1938 draft. The drought extended on Saturday when the seven-round draft concluded without a UT player taken.
Three players were known Saturday night to have signed free agent contracts. Wide receiver Marquez North and safety Brian Randolph both signed with the Los Angeles Rams, and linebacker/defensive end Curt Maggitt signed with the Indianapolis Colts. Tight end Alex Ellis said at press time he was expecting to sign with the Tennessee Titans, but was still waiting on the contract papers.

Congratulations to Skitter and his entire family. Anyone who knows this young man knows he is very humbled, professional and one of the hardest workers to ever leave Delmar. He deserves this chance and will represent his new team well. He truly is living his dream! Great example of living true to the motto of hard work pays off. All kids to follow should take note.
You go Skitter!!!
CONGRADULATIONS young man!! It's refreshing to hear a report about a young kid that is positive and encouraging. Don't know him or his family but it sounds like it couldn't happen to a better family. For once an athlete that knows the meaning of HUMBLE and coaches not trying to take credit for HIS success!! Go make it come true young man
