you know, sooner or later, that there is going to be an accident at this intersection yet the SHA will not put a light there. There have been multiple deaths here (and don't know the situation unfolding now - but how many more are going to die before something is done?

Until we can get the Governor's ear, nothing is going to get done and someone will die. It's a terrible intersection.

It's really not the intersection... it's the drivers. Pay attention!

I agree with you 7:14 but lets get some coffee going before you comment again.

The post specifically states that there was an accident. There have been several. An accident at this intersection is the reason for this post.

How could this be ? I thought having mandatory headlights would resolve this.

Really this its pretty sad that almost as soon as I read the headline I knew it would be at Sixty Foot Rd. They should rename it to Six Foot Under Rd.

The same thing happened at the intersection of Church and Truitt St in Salisbury, except there actually was a traffic light there until a major storm destroyed it.A blinking light replaced the traffic light and there have been countless accidents there every since. That storm occurred at least 10 years ago and a week has never passed that an accident did not occur there since.

I was wondering about the camera view also. You mean they can put a camera up to watch the accidents but no light to maybe prevent them?
