Twice on Sunday, Sen. Bernie Sanders blamed "disastrous trade policies" for job losses that have devastated cities like Detroit and Flint, Michigan.
"There is no doubt -- I don't think anyone debates this, that these disastrous trade policies -- NAFTA, permanent normal trade relations with China, have cost this country millions of decent paying jobs and resulted in a race to the bottom, where many of the new jobs being created pay significantly less than those jobs used to pay years ago. That is the result of a disastrous trade policy," Sanders told ABC's "This Week" with George Stephanopoulos.

it's more like democrat policies and their unintended consequences !
431 you are the problem. Too blinded by the partisan smoke screen to see what's really going on. I know, scream"Obamacare did it". Too bad the trends in the labor market where there before you ever even heard of an Obama. I know,"it's Billy Clibton's fault". Well it's also too bad the the GOP has long pushed for trade policies and "job creation" in a fashion that bleeds middle class jobs. This is not a partisan issue. We're getting hosed from both sides.
The last six presidents have pushed jobs out of the country, including Mr.Reagan.
Screw all you progressive Democrats...
Maryland, even Salisbury has saw the same effects over the years. Companies to this day are pulling out of the area because of it. There are workers here, just no industry. The same kind of thing is happening all over the country.
