Mr. T pays tribute to ‘Just Say No’ partner Nancy Reagan

One of Nancy Reagan’s most iconic White House photos involved her sitting in the lap and kissing the forehead of one of the “baddest men on the planet” — dressed as Santa Claus.

On Monday, Mr. T paid tribute to the former first lady.

In a series of tweets late Monday afternoon, the actor born Lawrence Tureaud called the White House meeting and his involvement with the “Just Say No” anti-drug campaign one of the highlights of his life.

“I mourn the death of First Lady Nancy Reagan, who was Very Special to me. Not only did she invite me to the White House in December ‘83, after meeting with her and President Ronald Reagan, she then asked me to help her with her ‘Just Say No’ program which I gladly accepted with humility and honor,” Mr. T wrote over a series of tweets.
