For Freemasons, Is Banning Gay Members Or Being Gay Un-Masonic?

When the Supreme Court legalized same-sex marriage nationwide last June, a couple of farmers in rural Somerville, Tenn., tied the knot.

The couple — Mark Henderson and Dennis Clark — say their neighbors responded within hours.

"We came home and there was a bottle of champagne in a potato salad bucket on the front porch," Henderson says.

But the response from another community, one that they've been actively involved in for years, wasn't as welcoming.

how about this, do not make a big deal about being gay, keep it to yourself and don't force it down everyone's throat and none of this is a problem

10:29 is on the money....

Meanwhile, the Mason's are a private organization and should be allowed to associate (and not associate) with whomever they want!

If your a member you understand completely... And as far them being let go they know why. The choices they decided to make is what led to this. They know as members that they no longer qualify or meet the standards as is required to be in the order. That's final and enough said. It's a PRIVATE organization let them deal with it within the Hall and Order they use to be part of.

Homosexual men have quietly been members of the Masons since the organization was begun over 1000 years ago. Don't ask, don't tell has been the unspoken rule. The Supreme Being looks at everyone with the same eyes - it's only man who doesn't.

12:14 I don't know where you got that from, God commands us not to lay with a man as we lay with a woman. He destroyed Saddam and Gamora because of their sexual deviance.

I my lodge we don't allow Homo's we believe in God's law of brotherly love, not make love to your brother!

God's commandments are the Ten Commandments. The rest is human commentary.
