Update Service Information For Chief Donald Records

Retired Assistant Chief Donald Records joined Salisbury Fire Dept. Station 2 as a volunteer in 1959. He was hired as a career firefighter in 1963, a lifelong dream. His entire career of nearly 37 years was spent at the Headquarters Company, retiring as Assistant Chief in 1999. During these years he worked part time for Shore Fire Equipment and Records Electric. He was proud that his father, his two sons and grandson have also served the Salisbury Fire Department. They are the only known family to have four generations serve the department. He was a volunteer at Parsonsburg Fire Co. since 2006.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury with a visitation from 1:30 to 3:00 PM. Interment will follow the service at Parsons Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Parsonsburg Fire Dept., PO Box 160, Parsonsburg, MD 21849, Grace United Methodist Church, 635 Church St., Salisbury, MD, 21804 or PRMC Oncology, 100 E. Carroll St., Salisbury, MD, 21801. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, 501 Snow Hill Rd., Salisbury, MD 21804. Please visit www.hollowayfh.com to send condolences to the family.

I knew Donald as a member of pburg. He was never too busy to talk to you and teach you something about how the fire department works or how they did it in his day lol. He will be missed. One of the few that was decent and had the service to the public in mind and not how much money they needed to make to go drinking at fire convention.
