Maine Governor Tells Gun Owners to 'Get Rid of Drug Dealers'

One day Maine's governor is talking about using the guillotine on drug dealers. The next, he's talking about using guns.

Gov. Paul LePage told reporters Wednesday that Mainers are allowed to carry concealed handguns and added: "Load up and get rid of the drug dealers."

LePage later said he wasn't suggesting vigilantism.

His comments during a visit to Lewiston come a day after he joked about using the guillotine on drug dealers.

The Republican governor has voiced frustration over out-of-state drug dealers he blames for fueling Maine's heroin epidemic. He said he supports charging them with a homicide if their drugs are linked to an overdose death. He also said Maine should bring back the death penalty.

I totally agree with Maine Governor, use the guillotine, make an example of these thugs. I'm sure that will send a strong message and deterrence once the guillotine is used. If you don't cut the head off the snake, the snake doesn't die..

While Hollywood exaggerates propagates & omits, there's no question that Bronson's 'Death Wish' character showed what vigilantism is capable of. Couple that with public execution by guillotine with FCC demanded broadcast and I'm pretty damn sure we'd need less cops., probably be a lot safer for those that were left, too.

I say for people who commit gun crimes they get both their thumbs cut off. Try holding a gun with no thumbs thugs!
