In the latest of a series of them on the shore, a bomb threat has led to the evacuation this morning of Ocean City Elementary School. Worcester County Sheriffs deputies are on the scene and blocking ingress and egress. All students and staff have reportedly been evacuated and remain safely outside at this time. More as it's available.
UPDATE on OCES evacuation
Worcester County Public Schools Spokesperson Carrie Sterrs said, "What I know is OCES received a telephone call, it was not a robocall it was a live call, from an individual who said there was a bomb in the building. All students and staff were safely evacuated. “
She says call came in at “about” 9:15 a.m.

When they catch this dirtbag i want to see there faces on Tv.
See how they are leaving the building. It's called using common sense and not taking chances with other peoples children.
Get everyone used to recieving these threats and they will not evacuate the schools.....once that is done the schools will become prime targets for a real bomb.
