A couple dozen servicemen and women marched to the White House this Veterans Day and dumped a large box of empty pill containers, calling on the president and other federal officials to make medical marijuana accessible to veterans.
“Here’s what the over-medication of our veterans looks like,” they said as they spilled the canisters onto the floor. “We don’t want it.”
The veterans and protesters — affiliated with various veteran and marijuana advocacy organizations — argued that Veterans Affairs hospitals are over-medicating veterans, prescribing them a large number of psychoactive medications to treat PTSD. They marched from McPherson Square to the Department of Veterans Affairs headquarters, then to the White House, some smoking joints along the way, which is illegal in D.C.

Allow them access to medical marijuana and what will happen to all the wealthy pharma companies? No way veterans well being is more important than the money big pharm contributes unfortunately
Way to go, give them hell !
the problem is they are looking for the government (Obama) to take care of them. stop begging at the well of the government
Either beg at the well or be imprisoned by the King.
As soon as the medical marijuana industry starts matching the hundreds of millions of dollars "contributed" by the pharmaceutical companies to your "leaders", they will get the same results, which is legislation that favors them, gives them tax breaks, ignores illegal behavior, and squeezes out competition.
Bribery works.
And I know you don't believe it, but "your guy" has his hand out, too.
Your leaders. So desperate to keep the bribes flowing, they make sure the ones who sacrificed for THEM are forced to take chemical compounds with some serious side effects rather than a natural substance found just about anywhere. Your leaders care.
I made that last part up.
Keep cheering.
If you think some weed will treat PTSD, you're lying to yourself.

It's already been studied, proven and accepted. Get current. You might even find other 'illegal' drugs work well too but they don't want anyone to know that. They like the money they are getting from poisoning people with big pharma drugs.
Actually low level doses of opiates also help to aleviate stress casued by PTSD. But do we really want to make more addicts? Stop pushing poison on our nation. The real crime is not Weed being illegal. The real crime is keeping things like mushrooms and other psychedelic/shamanistic drugs away from people. Weed is good for calming down. Psychedelics work much faster and the visible changes to their disorder last longer.
Again all of these statements are based in research.
Government is one big lie.
