Dad Tells Cops They Need a Warrant to Search His Home, so They Kick in His Door & Kill Him

Spring Lake, NC — Three children lost their father Sunday after deputies with the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office, looking for a different man, shot and killed him.

John Livingston, 33, was shot and killed in the early morning hours of Sunday as police were conducting an assault investigation. Police were not looking for Livingston, and the entire situation could have been avoided had they come back with a warrant like Livingston requested.

Livingston’s roommate, Clayton Carroll told WNCN that he was shot multiple times during the altercation with officers who had no right to be there in the first place.

According to Carroll, deputies began knocking on the door around 3:30 am as they were looking for someone who no longer lived in the home. When Deputies asked Livingston if they could search his home, Livingston said “not without a search warrant,” according to Carroll.

Livingston then shut the door.

Having a man assert his fourth amendment right to be secure in his property was apparently too much for the deputy to handle.

“The cop kicked in the door, got on top of him, started slinging him around beat him…” Carroll said.

Not a word from the black supremacist BLM hate group though. Not a word about the "unarmed white man" let alone that he deserves "Justice". Proves beyond a doubt they are racist, self-important degenerates.

Thenchang s that need to happen, must happen for ALL of us. Because OUR lives matter.

Local police do this on a regular. Can't wait till they do it to me. If they ever do I maybe killed but not before I take some with me. If I live and one doesn't illl be laughing it up as I tell my story of asserting my rights and living to tell about it. Not to mention I'll be walking free. But the cops know me well enough to walk lightly. I know my rights better then they do. And that scares them. Damn shame its the only way to get them to act right. Remember how we became as a country folks. The shot heard around the world.

The "victim" in this situation was not unarmed. He took the Deputy's Taser. That justifies deadly force all day every day. Read the whole story despite the fact that is published by a fake wanna be media source. Come on Joe show some integrity.

Cops are not immune to abusing opiates. The numbers are pretty much consistent in every sector. throw in the fact ex military get hiring preference and how many come home from Afghanistan with the monkey in their back and it should be no surprise things like this happen.. We even have County employees in Child care positions popping derivatives while caring for our children ..to me that is scary as hell.

when the kop entered the home illegally< ( that is just cause by itself ), and then began to assault the VICTIM, he had every right to defend himself, his home and anyone in it, by any force necessary.

It's just a shame the victim did not use enough force to rid the world of this maggot.

Not nearly as scary as all the out of control cops out there. He should have been armed better and stood back and dropped him. Its a dead white guy so this will be whitewashed.

Wrong deputy. The cop had no business there in the first place. The man is allowed by law to defend himself against the intruder at all cost. Cop or not! If that means taking the cops weapon to fight with so be it. The man stood his ground and fought the good fight. Legally! He lost. Giovanni Jones. If you try that round my house you'll have no worries about your taser being grabbed. I doubt you'll know what happened. Won't even feel it. Lmao. Nice try at the justification. Another cop ready to defend another murderous cop!

Mike Lewis. Get this guy off our streets. You better educate this deputy of yours. His ignorance is documented. Therefore your lack of leadership and your negligence is also to be called into play of you don't . explain to Mr Giovanni Jones that all the cops backing goes out the window with the unlawful entry, search and assault. Oh that's right. The cops now have protection for this. A kick any door in free card. The good ol ignorance and in good faith deals huh? More power to abuse and kill for you pigs!
