Did not bother watch on here as no doubt in my mind all comments will rip Mr Harvey's opinion to shreds, starting with 6:07 AM above.

I have watched this video previously on another site where folks appreciate and express good thoughts. Mr Harvey had a way in his writings, to make most people feel happy and proud to be an American.

The folks on SBYNews commenting are not going to knock the wind out of my sails with their hideous opinions. It is sad when some folks cannot see good in anything and spend their pitiful lives trashing..

I commend those that put their lives at stake to save others. The problem I have is the majority of the SFD here just have the "I am better than anyone else's attitude". They do not have a clue. Salisbury is not like New York who receive a excessive amount of calls a week that are far more dangerous. Firefighters seem to be more humble in the cities that experience a high rate of calls. What really is a shame is that when I have visited New York on several occasions I have stopped into several fire stations and have met some really humble firefighters. These stations are old and run down. They did not have a state of the art gym, huge conference rooms and a kitchen equipped for a restaurant. There is something wrong with this picture. SFD here have the lap of luxury and poor ass attitudes to go with it. Such a waste of money for Salisbury. Priorities here are backwards as hell.

I wonder how many of you trashing the firefighters have risked your lives to do what they do? Clearly a small town fire department is not going to have the volume of calls that a big city does, thank god! But just because it isn't a daily occurrence doesn't mean they they don't risk their lives. Unless or until you are willing to do their job maybe you should just sit back and be quiet...just sayin'

Heros all of them. Especially the ones who continue to lie about the bombs in the towers.
